The Government Mandate
From 1 July 2026, the Building Commission NSW (BCNSW) mandates the use of the eCert portal for all electrical compliance certificates.

PDF CCEW forms, including those generated by CCEW.com.au, are no longer accepted as valid compliance documents.
Service & Billing
CCEW.com.au closed on 1 July 2026. New certificates must be submitted via the BCNSW eCert portal.

All billing on this site has ceased. Any unused subscription time at closure was pro-rated and refunded.

Why we shut down this site

We built CCEW.com.au to make your paperwork easier. The eCert mandate meant PDF CCEWs were no longer valid here, so we closed this product and evolved our work into Tradie Forms.

Complex integration requirements

BCNSW is developing an API pathway, but supporting it safely would require significant integration work, formal approval, and ongoing maintenance that was beyond what we could commit to for this product.

CCEW PDFs Retired

Our core service here was generating compliant PDF forms. Since BCNSW no longer accepts PDFs, those documents ceased to be legally valid for new work.

Identity validation controls

The new system introduces strict identity validation and account-level controls, which adds further complexity to any third-party workflow integration.

Users could create, edit, and download CCEW forms. Premium upgrades remained available until closure so Pro features stayed accessible through the final month.
